For this special edition USPS stamp collection, I chose to center the slogan "Trans Power" to amplify trans voices and highlight a movement that remains deeply relevant today. The project pays tribute to Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, two trans women who were pivotal in igniting the Gay Civil Rights Movement.

Combining dynamic typographic arrangements with striking archival imagery of Marsha and Sylvia, I created a visual narrative that honors their activism and their legacy. The final design transforms each stamp into a small but powerful tribute celebrating trans resilience and ensuring their impact continues to be seen and felt.

To extend the impact of the stamp design beyond the confines of philately, I reimagined the bold typography from the collection as large-scale wall graffiti installation. The expressive type treatments were adapted into vibrant murals and wearable swag. By bringing the “Trans Power” slogan into public and personal spaces, the design becomes a living, breathing part of the movement, sparking dialogue and offering daily affirmations of pride, resistance, and solidarity.
